Nuffclub is an interactive short film that was made over the course of a single week at NUFF 2019 as part of the SEEK@NUFF program. It is made with special functionality which lets you screen it with an audience and have them participate in the decision making.

I was in charge of the technical development and built the webapp for the "remote control", and created interfaces in the interactive film platform. The video is hosted on the Eko platform, and built with their JavaScript enabled studio software.

With me on the team, I was surrounded by great local film makers who did the manuscript, most of the shooting and editing.

FLINK

Flink is an android game we made a while back. It’s a game where your goal is to connect all tiles of same color together. You achieve this by swiping whole rows and columns. The game is heavily inspired by the Rubik’s cube, and behaves similar to what we imagine a one-sided cube to look like.

We have designed and handmade over 130 levels for the game. The game unlocks more levels as you earn stars by completing levels in a certain amount of moves. In the end you’ll be playing with up to 8 different colors to group up.

Technology

The game was made with Android Studio and Android’s own native SDK. Our goal was to make the game as little as possible. We managed to bring the full game down to an impressively small ~370 kilobytes (!). The game’s size has since grown by quite a bit through adding google ads and analytics.

Kreative Nord

Pnkt AS hired me to build this website and implement a design they created. Kreative Nord is a project where everyone can add and browse actors in the creative industries in northern norway. Sort of like a wiki for creative people.

This project is based on WordPress, where I created and tailored this theme from scratch to fit all the client's needs. It features an AngularJS-powered home page search section with tags and industry categories

Happens

The team behind Happens realized they probably missed out from a lot of stuff happening in their town. They found that there are so many events that happens without many people knowing of it. Everything from yoga classes to festivals with bad marketing.

Happens decided they wanted to do something about it. The solution they came up with was a social media app where all the events everywhere was supposed to go. Internally they created an iOS prototype as a proof of concept, but deemed it didn't live up to what they had imagined. Thus, they hired Pnkt AS and me to make a cross-platform app.

Technology

The app is built using React Native to target both Android & iOS. Using a REST API back-end / CMS made by Happens’ own back-end development team we've been able to focus mainly on the app itself. Using the same API, we’ve also made a ReactJS based admin panel where Happens and any of their partners can manage their own events.

KIWI Christmas Calendar 2018

I was thrilled when I was approached by content marketing agency Spoon about making an Christmas calendar for KIWI. They are a Norwegian grocery store chain with more than 660 stores all around the country.

Spoon provided the design, and I developed the site. I decided to build it as a React app, with a minimal PHP backend to handle database connections.

Small Heroes 2019

A charity livestreaming event hosted by the people at Tvibit. They hired me and my team at TGEX Media (Formerly Oxzyn Media) to handle all the tech. The event was a 2-day live stream where nordic gamers and speedrunners appeared and showcased their skills and entertained the audience.

The event raised almost 50'000 NOK for the Children and Youth Clinic at Universitetssykehuset Nord-Norge.
